GOING BUSH!

just spent the last 4 days in cairns gettin ship-shape. absolutely pounded the wallet maxed the credit cards out twice. pretty sure we have 2 of absolutely everything we need and more. enough tackle to start our own fishing shop. were driving to lakefield national park tomorrow to hopefully get stuck into some big barra, see some crocs and blow some pigs. might not have internet for a few days but will put new vids up soon

Spent the day in the boat cruising around Hinchinbrook island it was a bit windy to head outside so had a pop around the river mouths for a few small queenies. It was probably the most scenic place we have been yet massive jungle covered mountains, waterfalls, mosquitos the size of birds & crocky little mangroves rivers felt like we were in the middle of the amazon. The camera was flat so no pics sorry

just got back from a 48 hours stint in the tinny on the whitsundays. scored some pretty amazing weather and got to see heaps of the islands, in 48hours we clocked up 120kms in the tinny just cruising around the islands fishing, diving the reefs, trying to get video of turtles, jumping off cliffs and even rescuing stranded backpackers who had been starving on an island for 5 days without food. nightimes in the tinny were pretty rough waking up in the middle of the night nearly high and dry an listening to the waves bloop all night long. but the days were an insane, apart from the lack off fish we got. we had a few hook ups the first night and next day but couldn't stop them before they got to the reef. the whitsundays was amazing in every aspect except we didnt catch any fish. in other words shes a good looking bird that you would show off to ya mates and even take home to mum, but shes a rotten lay in bed.

LENNOX TO SUNNY COAST

surfed lennox on friday pretty decent 4-5 foot sick walls and good barrels through the inside, then we cruised up to the goldy for a night and grabbed ourself a bed and hot shower, scrubbed the cods for the first time in a week. then we drove up to the sunny coast for a bit of loose night with the gamble, which got us kicked out of every bar and1 robbed 7 eleven blind. it was a top shelf night!! sundy we were pretty well hung and i racked up 30 hours straight on the couch. monday was looking good to catch some fish we met up with joey and hit the barra farm for no amount of fish. bams hooked a log of a bream which we saw 3 times before spitting the hook.. couple of days on the road heading for airlie and the whitsundays!

left arrawarra this morning and headed for iluka got an inside tip that we could get some waves and it wasnt a bad tip either! surfed the breakwall 3 foot for a few hours than watched the locals scrape the ocean floor with some nets while having lunch. hopefully get some more waves in the morning

HITTING THE ROAD

sunday 6th june and we finally had all our crap sorted, turned right out of sussex and started heading north, made it to cresent head after a quick stop in sydney so bams could pick up a new 44 magnum and shes a ripper too. after a epic surf out cresent we cruised into kempsy to get some new wheels for the rig. of course i bought the most expensive ones they had and the rig has never looked better. we slept at south west rocks and hit fish rock in the morning for any amount of kingfish with the best going 90cm also a few amberjack and mac tuna to 4kilo. spent the next day surfing really good waves at arrawarra and looks like we will be getting more good waves tomorrow at yamba!!! plenty of tackle after emptying the wallet at mo tackle aswell.
